At IDEO I led the technical design for a year-long project of LCD TVs inspired by home decor for our client, HannSpree in Taiwan.

We started with global user research and design principles for interior design, then created 105 unique TV concepts and finally delivered 38 of those as fully engineered tool-ready products.

It was fun academically to be comprehensive within a single product category pushing design and user appeal in so many directions along with the wide variety of manufacturing materials/finishes and the clever mechanisms we created.

Even better was the focused efficiency of such a talented high-performing multi-discipline design team.
